93% Trebbiano 7% Pagadebit. Super fresh and crisp. — 8 years ago
From folkways.com: This is an organically and biodynamically farmed white wine from Emilia-Romagna in central/north Italy made from a very rare grape called Bombino Bianco. The area where this variety was cultivated was quite poor; as a result the white wines made from Bombino gained the name 'pagadebit,' or 'repaying debts' — the farmers of the region grew this prolific grape variety because it was a sure bet during harvest and meant they could always pay the bills. Lots and lots of structure, tart red fruit, orange rind, body for days and a finish to match. Ends with a pleasant full warm red clay flavor and texture. — 6 years ago
