Dairyman Vineyard sits in the southern alluvial plains of the Russian River Valley near the ocean, a region where cooling fog comes in through the Petaluma Gap in the morning and once again in the evening. Bright Ruby, some purple edges, with aromas of ripe berries and baking spices. On the palate flavors of raspberry and black cherry with herb, cedar and cinnamon. Smooth fine tannins, medium+ finish with lively acidity, great structure, ending with fruit and cedar spice. A Fav! — 2 years ago
This is a very tasty Pinot Noir from Sonoma County. Fruit forward and elegant.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Showing red fruits with light oak, chocolate notes and tobacco.
Showing nice complexity with a soft mouth feel. Easy drinking and good right out of the bottle.
Good by itself as a sipping wine, and good with food too.
14.4% alcohol by volume.
90 points.

TSWC. Enjoyable drink. Creamy finish, but decent flavour profile to it with enough crispness to bite through things. Went well with a mushroom risotto. — 9 months ago
Pale to mid yellow in colour. The wine was a little cold to begin with. Aromas of talc and lime marmalade, dried flowers - a faint paraffin note - No Kerosene or petrol (TDN). A beautiful aged Riesling from the Clare Valley from Petaluma - a long time favourite producer of Riesling. With air and warming up, some yellow peach notes developing. I see HH said this benefits from decanting which I didn’t do. Drinking at its peak. Sadly my last 2012. — 2 years ago

Brought this to John and Anne’s and it’s very very tasty! — a year ago
Very distinct menthol on the front palette but rolls into deep fruit and chocolate with typical dusty tannin. Lovely — 2 years ago

A superb aromatic 100% Chardonnay, the V. 2022 Grower Collection is entirely sourced from the Calesa Vineyard by the Petaluma Gap, situated in the coolest parts of Sonoma County where Chard ripens slowly, developing pure, vibrant flavors and ideal acidity. They grow Chards from Clones Robert Young, and Burgundian Dijons.
This particular Chard wakes up all senses with its vibrant notes of lemon meringue, some ripened lychees, and baked guava. On the palate is respectfully complex, baked stony fruits in the mid-range and the lemon and mandarine peels continue to dominate to the back-end of the tongue.
Mouthfeel overall, pleasant, savory on soft spices, creamy thanks to its 100% MLF, and enticing oak touch coming from the 35% new French oak the wine was seating on. Great price point considering the quantity produced (1,200 cases) and where it comes from. Cheers! — a month ago
