No formal notes . This showed really well from the off . Nice ruby garnet colour with an aromatic nose of red fruits , porcini , rose notes . On the palate really elegant and wonderfully poised with lots of red fruits , porcini and saline , tar stained finish . Polished tannins and good freshness , really long finish. Showing well now though no rush, will probably continue at this high level for a further decade . — 3 months ago

100% Nerello Mascalese. Light garnet (see through) color. Intensely smoky at first sniff that quickly blows off. Additional aromas of red berries, dried rose petals and orange zest. Flavors of strawberry, raspberry, baking spices, fresh herbs and ginger. Noticeable mineral note on the long finish. Crisp acidity, low tannins and medium-minus body. Round and juicy. — 6 months ago

A mid cherry red in colour. Aromatics of red fruits, menthol and touches of tar and roses. Light to medium bodied on the palate - surprising for a Barolo with medium plus intensity. Different and interesting in a good vintage from an excellent producer. Next in a year. — 4 months ago
