This wine has a very nice fruity body with a bit of a dry finish. Currants come to mind. This is a wine best paired with a mind ready to transcend beyond this temporal realm, through the veil, and into the Void of Distortion! This wine is the palatable equivalent of a saw wave oscillating through the plenum cabling and into your grey matter. One day we will all be consumed by the cubular harbingers. But until that day consider Lodi’s plunger-head wine. On a Tuesday evening it is quite nice. — 6 years ago

Delicious. Deep ruby purple red with heavy legs on the glass. Powerful nose of ripe plum and black currant with a hint of leather. Wonderful explosion of flavor in the mouth. The vinous equivalent of a Havana cigar. More prune and red fruit on the tongue with leather, cedar and tobacco prominent. A spectacular value. Gentle finish with balanced tannins and salty minerals. Vintage 2012. $8 a great buy for an easy drinking wine with appetizers. Dark fruit, very slightly sweet but not jammy. If with dinner, best to pair w a meat dish. 13.5% Alcohol.
