Delicious Portuguese white with cracking acidity and juicy citrus undercurrents. Great find from #weygandtwines — 5 years ago
I’m not sure I’ve had a better Monday morning in my life. Beautiful site, even better people, and awesome wines. I was fortunate to taste through this excellent lineup:
• 2016 Sauvignon Blanc
• 2015 Firebelle
• 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon
• 2015 LMV Salon
• 2014 Dr Olmo
• 2014 Solari
The 2015 LMV Salon was my WOTM. While Cabernet Sauvignon (60%) dominates the composition, the Cabernet Franc (40%) dominates its aromatics. — 6 years ago
Flora “A SÉMILLON × GEWÜRZTRAMINER cross bred by Harold P Olmo in 1938 at the University of California at Davis, US, and released in 1958 (Walker 2000).”
The wine is more about texture and round fruity body, floral characteristics are in the background, and overall seems more Semillon dominate. Satisfying and enjoyable. Interested in the sweet wine version “Nectar of the Goddess”, which is a blend of estate Flora and Symphony.

Symphony “A GARNACHA ROJA × MUSCAT OF ALEXANDRIA cross bred by Harold P Olmo in 1940 at the University of California at Davis and released in 1983 (Walker 2000).”
My first introduction to Symphony was at Scott Harvey in Plymouth, CA. Jana Wines series “One Last Kiss” white blend (Chardonnay, Mendocino Riesling, Symphony, New York Cayuga). Floral & off-dry, Delicious blend, repeat purchase at the winery.
My next introduction at Michael David in Lodi.
“ These estate grown grapes are some of the first plantings of its varietal in the state.” Floral & Fruity, Lodi fruit, 11% ABV, Love the Muscat qualities, repeat purchase at the winery.
Now, Maple Creek Winery - Artevino - Estate Symphony. Its nice to see Symphony from a cooler climate. White floral, grapefruit & lemon, zippy acidity. Nice seafood wine. 13.4% ABV, would be interested in a sparkling version. Textbook wine, pull up the Symphony page on wine-searcher.com :)

Very expressive herbaceous nose, the palate is voluptuous with many dessert notes, ends in a somewhat sharp, long manner — 6 years ago
This is a very good vine right out of the bottle. Dry with chocolate and earthy fruit, smooth light tannin finish. And it lives up to the bling! — 8 years ago
