N: lots of Black fruit (black cherry, plum) with a bit of red, violets, a bit of sweet tobacco, and light vanilla.
P: nice texture on the palate without being overly heavy, cassis, Dried herbs, mixed ground pepper, dusting of chocolate.

What a beautiful rendering - staying inside its lane, this thoroughbred ran strong and gracefully. Med+ weight, the beauty here is the herbal/fruit tapestry - like listening to poetry and looking for the meaning. Very cerebral :) — 6 years ago
This is hearty CF…full and textured…all the necessary criteria for a big meal and meaningful varietal expression. Think Pollak CF reserve! — 3 years ago
Super clean & structured - compelling food wine! Mouthfeel, texture, acid...tannin: it’s all there. The only thing holding us back from me more distinguish reading would be that it taste profile is rather simple and not indicative of unique terroir or special growing conditions. It’s just “Chardonnay” in taste. This isn’t bad, it’s just not exotic or profoundly intriguing ;) — 4 years ago
