Super interesting. Pigato is Vermentinos reclusive brother from Liguria. More dense mouth feel but not lacking minerality or balance. A 2016 Kermit Lunch selection has no funk just a really good white with hints of peach and salinity. Paired well with our oysters. Glad I dug this out and finally tried it. Looking forward to the next one in a year to see if he’s still holding up. — 19 days ago

Lemon and honey, stony minerality, great acid and depth on the palate, even at age 16 this has lots of life left in it (5-10 more years), very long, lingering finish, great Muscadet!! — 20 days ago

@Doug Powers thanks to a wine mentor I too learned of the beauty of aged Muscadet. He also educated me that Bojo can age. When ignorance is turned into knowledge, it can be very rewarding.

@Ira Schwartz, I remember visiting Marc Olivier @ Pepiere one January (2007?) with two of my wine group friends, he climbed in our car and we drove out to see some of the vineyards, including Clisson. The amount of shells and granite was amazing. One of the nicest vignerons I’ve ever met!!
