Brewery Bhavana 'Bloom' dry cardamom triple
Raleigh NC. 8.1%
Label story is that brewer spent time in Kerala India.
Medium plus gold. Pale head that disipates rapidly. Green resinous cardamom aromas combine with tropical/banana and Candi sugar in the nose. Palate plays the banana note again, along with ginger, cardamom and a vaguely tropical custard flavor (soursop/cherimoya?). On a second taste the in mouth aroma is more of a baked banana bread with cinnamon. Quite complex and very well balanced, ending with a warming alcoholic exhale. — 3 years ago
Had this wine with some old and new friends at Taylor’s Wine Shop in Raleigh, NC. Brick colored with an aroma that just pulls you in. Earthiness, leather, and pepper on the nose. The taste confirmed the scent. It had structure, power, and meatiness with a black pepper undertone. However, it was remarkably smooth with a long finish. Thank you @Mike R for sharing this wine. It was fantastic! — 4 years ago
I brought this to the Olde Raleigh wine club. It did not disappoint. I had bought this at the winery in Sep 2022. Amazing. — 4 months ago

This was an evening out in Raleigh while in town for a wedding. We had a glass of the Nine Hats Red Blend. Medium purple with a nose of blackberry jam, strawberries, vanilla, and a slight hint of sweet tobacco. Very much a fruit forward wine on the palate. Full bodied, this is a crowd pleaser. We had this by the glass at Vita Vite in Raleigh, NC. At $20 a bottle this is a great value. — 4 years ago
