Domaine Louis Remy

Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru Pinot Noir 1994

Dark cherry red with transparent edge. Oak and complexity, tree’s skin. Spices. Fern. Earthy. Still fruity. Quite smooth. After 3 hours decanting, real taste showed up. Concentration, juicy characteristic. Louis Remy Latriciere Chambertin 94 @19580, Chitos, 241103-241231 — 5 months ago

Les Vaudayants Bouzy Rouge Pinot Noir

DAY 1
Poured this with the Vinloq System
👃Bright, underripe cranberry with cherry and ripe dark fruit. Wilted rose florals, potpourri, and minerality. More perfumed with more air
👅Pretty and composed. Silky & delicate with soft tannins. Dry, perfumed finish

“Slow Decanted” the remaining wine in my refrigerator

DAY 9
Again, let this breathe in the glass for 90 mins
👃Appealing bright red fruit that added perfume with air
👅Nice complexity in an elegant Burgundian style. Pairs well with salty foods like cheese or 🍿

This is in a great place now. Well made and a solid value. It was pretty much identical after 9 days of Slow Decanting

Special Club Champagne Pinot Noir 2012

Rich but not over the top and not too revealing on the nose or palate. Tasty nonetheless. Maybe a little maturity to settle in. — 4 years ago
