I didn't know anyone had vines on the Scharzhofberg except Müller, Van Volxem, and kesselstadt!

This is coming directly from Andreas Resch (sitting next to me) there are the three you mentioned, plus Andreas Resch, Von Hövel, Peters (these are private owners) and then two institutional owners, the wineries of the Bishop of Trier and the Vereinigte Hospizien.

This is one of my favorite producers in the Mosel, Andreas Resch. His wines are feminine, with amazing aromatics, rounder mouth feel, a lush wine but not flabby. Schlangegraben means "snake ditch vineyard." We hope to import his 2012 in the next few months. — 11 years ago
