Another enjoyable Virginia red. Ripe red fruits, with edges of sweetened oak and earth. Medium bodied, mid-palate finish. — 9 months ago

Gov Cup “winner” from 2021….ya know, just good for me…a touch out of balance with a bit of tangy acidity singing slightly off pitch (on the final third / finish). Nevertheless, rich and textured. Prefer the Rockbridge a bit more ;) — 3 years ago
Super classy! Minerality + bright/delicate stones fruit framed in pastel floral boarder. Soooo clean and precise. One of the best V’s in recent memory. This a German’s viognier...like a pristine Reisling — 6 years ago

Murky ruby color. Aromas of dark berry fruit, fresh herbs and sweet peppers. Black bramble berry and cherry fruit on the palate with additional notes of tobacco, currants, cranberries, black pepper and baking spices. Hint of vanilla on the medium-plus finish. Quite dry with noticeable tannins. Pretty well rounded and nicely balanced. Pleasant surprise. Thanks for including in your Cabernet Franc Tasting, Ron B! — 15 days ago
