Prior notes from 6 months ago still seem accurate. Thanks to my brother for this delicious lighter red. It’s almost as though making a lighter, food-friendly, warm-weather friendly red is becoming a lost art. They won’t get the high critic points, but there are so many circumstances where this is what works, but so few choices in this category. — 8 months ago

This wine has a nose full of cherry and herbal notes, with a hint of bell pepper. The palate brings red fruit and a savory streak of earth and black pepper with it. There is a strong acidity, and firm tannins for a food friendly wine. — 2 months ago

I’ve never had Rossese Bianco and as a fan of Rossese (red), it’s exciting to try this (from Piemonte, surprisingly). Nose is quite herbal with a little note of raw almond. Slight note of stone fruit pits. Crisp and cleansing and refreshing in the mouth (as are many of its red siblings). Nice intensity and balance. This would be a very nice summer antipasto accompaniment. Thanks to my brother Angelo for spying and snagging this for me! — 3 months ago
