Fig, Prune, Cocoa, Walnut/ Christmas Cake and rich dark berry cassis aged 'sweetness'. At 14%, the alcohol at 7 yrs has integrated well. The wine has acidity that restrains the richness and matured vitality that the Barossa throws at you - the tannins are invitingly soft - this my friends has been under Coravin. — 9 years ago
Delicious - dark fruits, liquorice, leather, a rich wine, but not heavy in tannins. — 5 years ago
Plums, cherries, dark chocolate and some earthy rosemary. No harsh tannins but very little finish. Hope to try more from Rusden again soon. — 8 years ago

Joseph Barsky
14.1% ABV. Blueberry, vanilla and cinnamon bomb. Reminds us of the 1998 Rusden Black Guts or even better. Needs air. Best after open and corked for 2 days. Amazing wine. Loved it! Huge thank you to Lee! — 3 years ago
