Christmas 2022 — 2 years ago
New vintage, yummy blackberries and, er, tobacco. Becoming a favorite. After 30 minutes, a healthy dose of fine-grained skin astringency emerges. Tangy or slightly tart on finish, with plenty of mouth-coating skin tannins. Worth decanting a couple of hours — 2 months ago
Savage! Lots of fruit even on day 3. Sheesh — 2 years ago
Extremely Nice — 7 months ago
Dense purple red, medium to high pigment extraction. Plum, cherry and black currant aromas. Rounded cherry flavor with lengthy, almost syrupy mouthfeel. Decanting should bring out additional flavors, including plum and cola. Spearmint and black pepper aftertaste. Nice layers to this one — 2 years ago

First pouring of vintage. Label promises flavors of preserved lemon, key lime and thyme. Processing included brief skin contact, then whole cluster pressing and native yeast fermentation. Some skin tannin astringency on finish. Aromas and flavors are accurate. Good acidity but skin tannins do shape the wine - not quite an orange wine, not quite a white. A stylish Blanc de noir, then. After two hours, the skin tannins soften and the wine drinks really well, with a harmonious blend of softness and fruit. Decant accordingly with a touch of chill to the wine — 2 days ago
