As we were leaving the restaurant I stop to again express our appreciation for the great food, wine and service when I saw this Grappa. The somm caught my eye and picked up the bottle and poured me a glass. This Grappa blew me away. Almost sweet, big and rich. This is Aqua Vita at its best. Got to get some. — 9 years ago

Morellino di Scansano DOCG 2011, 15%. I normally dislike Morellino, but this is the exception. Produced in limited quantities, I try to get a bottle or two whenever I can. This wine is rich, smooth, elegant and very satisfying. 96/100 — 11 years ago
