Enjoying this way too much to write thorough notes. Creamed corn, golden delicious apple (fresh and dried), beeswax, chamomile, hay. flinty , saline finish. Fresh AF for an ‘06. Don’t want it to end. Had one of those food and wine pairing serendipity moments having this wine alongside maitake tempura in a ponzu dipping sauce where everything just clicked 🤯! — 4 years ago

Love me some Mendocino County Pinot Noir. Damp forest floor, pennyroyal, baked cherries. A low intervention wine from own rooted vines. I was going to pour the rest of this wine out after being forgetful and leaving it out for 4 days, but it was still so fresh and gorgeous that I had to pour myself the last glass to celebrate the serendipity and solid winemaking. — 4 years ago
Nice smooth taste little heavier with a hint of oak. — 5 years ago
So, crazy thing happened. I’m in Corvallis for work flying home tomorrow am and got done way early. Driving up to PDX and there are wineries on the way! Is this Serendipity? 😀🍷 I’m a Willamette Pinot newbie. This was my favorite of the bunch. Overall they feel like more green, acidic, structured, and tart than Sonoma / Burgundy. Am I in the neighborhood or way too limited for the generalizations? — 2 years ago
Magical elixir-level stuff. I was actually shocked at how beautiful this was when I opened the bottle, even compared to the previous three I’ve enjoyed over the years. Sometimes you catch a great bottle of a great wine at just the right time, I guess.
The nose has just-mashed apples, honey, acacia, pressed yellow flowers, raspberries, and about a dozen different florals I can’t even begin to identify. Yellow raspberry coulis on the palate. Palate is close to perfection- satiny, seductive and ever so slightly sweet. Pairing with lobster was real serendipity, but I imagine you could just ogle over this on its own too. Saddened only that this is my last bottle. — 4 years ago
