Nice redfruit aromas and flavors, floral, still just a bit of tannic structure, medium-long finish, solid Oregon Pinot. — 2 years ago

Wes Hagen, 20 year veteran wine maker at Clos Pepe Vineyard, joined our group and gave us a master class in Santa Barbara pinot noir. We tried 11 PNs from 2004-2010, made by Loring, AP Vin, Sandler, Siduri, and Brewer-Clifton. This was my favorite as well as the group’s #1. — 2 years ago
v17. Very good, terroir driven wine. Soft smoked meat nose. Fresh, rich, fresh crushed black cherry and black berry fruit. Long, slightly astringent, zippy, earthy finish. Nicely balanced. — 3 years ago
Have not had Siduri for years and was very happy it drank so well. Busy dinner with friends — 4 months ago
Drank it at Mayflower hotel in Seattle. — 8 months ago
A tasting of nine 2012 Sonoma Coast Pinots. Of course the Suduri ranked high in our lineup - I liked the nose and the earthy-ness (I haven’t come up with a better word than “meaty” for the Pinots I love, please help). — 4 years ago

This lovely Siduri Pinot Noir is very dark-colored, big, rich, old vine mountain fruit (my recollection is that this is an old “head-pruned” Pinot vineyard, at elevation??), I can see criticism that it’s not really “Pinot Noir-like”, but like the older St. Innocent “Freedom Hill” Pinot Noirs, these wines last a long time, so even if it’s too “big”, it’s rich, intense and complex!! But, you wouldn’t ever guess, “blind”, that this was a red Burgundy. I happen to like it, as it seems youthful and fresh, with further aging potential. — a day ago
