Light, dry, peppery. Quite nice — 10 months ago
The 2020 Gattinara is elegant and lifted. Crushed red berry fruit, cinnamon and orange peel grace this ethereal, nuanced Gattinara. Bright saline notes and sweet red-toned fruit build into the long, persistent finish. Understated and silky, the 2020 is exquisite. All this needs is a few years to soften. Now it is no longer a generic Monferrato bianco, but Bussanello has his own appellation in Piedmont. — 6 years ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2021 pours a bright garnet color with a transparent core; medium viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with fabulous notes of wild raspberries, Morello cherry, freshly cut roses, cedar chest, orange zest, alpine herbs and rocky earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. This is really beautiful stuff. The nose alone positively slays. Drink now through 2041. Thanks for the assist @Lyle Fass — a month ago

Incredible bouquet but took a long time to open up and for the mineral and acid to mellow. Smooth and gentle when it finally did. Would only go for cellared bottles. — 6 months ago
Minimal tannin, delicious with food, easy to drink — a year ago
A bit dry but still really enjoyed the flavor and finish, and a decent value — 3 years ago
This grape does reach its full potential but be warned one of the few high alcohol content at 13.5%
