Holloran

Stafford Hill Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2023

Drank with Thanksgiving dinner at Marks. Fruitier end of Oregon Pinot, but really good with the meal. Mark smoked the turkey after lathering it in mayo. A trick he learned from a local BBQ pit boss. First time the white meat has ever been better (juicy and tender) than the dark). — a month ago

Château Lynch-Moussas

Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend 2005

Fantastic! Earthy and well balanced... Needed a little time in a decanter but opened up brilliantly. Chosen for us by the MS at the Stafford, Gino Nardella, for courses of Cornish lamb and pork. Loved it. — 9 years ago

The bouquet was lovely, smooth damp earth with a hint of tobacco and meat. Broad flavors and mouth encompassing depth.

California 37 Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

Thoroughly enjoyed this wine. Jimmy Stafford did a nice job on the rich berry flavor. Great with brisket — 11 years ago

Holloran

Stafford Hill Sauvignon Blanc 2024

Pale lemon color with aromas of bright citrus and tropical fruit with floral notes. On the palate flavors of peach, apple and lemon citrus fruit, some honeysuckle tones with lively acidity. Medium+ finish ending with fruit, citrus zest, herb floral spice and crisp chalky mineral notes. Nice!! — 3 months ago

Stafford Hill Tempranillo

Excellent complex Tempranillo with nice touch of wood. This is Tempranillo typical of SPAIN. Impossible to distinguish from a 90+ Spanish Ribera del Duero. — 9 years ago

Stafford Hill Willamette Valley Riesling 2011

Had at dinner with both parental units & Manzas. Worked well as an after dinner wine, as it was sweeter, but not too sweet. — 10 years ago
