Great ca zin. Blackberries galore, red apples, some earth and forest. Great acidity but still a rich zin. This is such an underrated winery. — 2 months ago
Great wine. Tried as a sample at H‑E‑B and loved it. Not too sweet. Has a Smokey semisweet flavor. Also reasonable price - around $12.00 — 7 months ago
Light, sweet but refreshing wine with a little fizz. Great for summer nights on the lanai. — 21 days ago
Martinelli family has been farming in Sonoma County since 1860. Deep Ruby color with aromas of red berry fruit and sweet spices. On the palate ripe cherry and blueberry flavors, with some dried fruit notes, oak, cinnamon spice and cola tones. Fine mouth coating tannins with balanced acidity carry this rich wine to a long finish. Good now will age a bit! — a month ago
Along with the majestic 2010 one of my favorite Stella vintages. So giving right off the bat, never any heat even in this warm vintage, just so fresh and clean wafting stunning perfumed aromatics with an elegant, detailed and voluminous palate. Always an amazing expression of Sangiovese. — 6 months ago

Was worried that this would be fruity and oaky. I should’ve known not to worry. The nickel family is serious about this wine. It’s very dark and I fear too young. Stood up very well with steak and punched back. Hit it with 100% pure oxygen and it’s still tight. Has some nice savory notes hiding the fruit here. Feel like I’m eating the wine. But I like it. — 7 days ago
