Pale lemon with aromas of stone and tropical fruits. Made from 40-year old vines, aged in 100% stainless steel. On the palate flavors of bright lemon citrus with crisp apple and peach notes. This medium-body wine has crisp acidity, good balance and nice mouthfeel, smooth long finish ending with creamy mineral texture. Very Nice! — 4 months ago
Mid gold in colour. Aromatics of yellow peach and honeyed notes. No traces of petro chemical. Medium plus intensity of stone fruit and mineral on the palate. Great depth. One of the top Rieslings in Alsace and showing it in spades. A beautiful Riesling and probably at its peak. Will stay on this plateau through the 2020’s. Interestingly about 25% went through malolactic so this is a different style from the usual Cuvée Frederic Emile. Very fresh for a 14 year old Riesling but remaining fleshy and M plus bodied. — 5 months ago
A punchy nose with struck match, honeyed lime. Stone and flint. Rick and great acidity subtly laced throughout. Excellent — 4 months ago
Dry, hint of stone fruit with oaky finish. Not sweet at all, goes well with shellfish. — 5 months ago
First night open: 20 year old vintage— chocolate on the nose with a stone fruit finish. Tasted clean and complex with an almost immediate light evaporation in your mouth leaving you with the feeling of bubbles dissolving. Delicious. — 3 months ago
Rich, laser like precision with lemon, stone, mineral & orchid fruit — 5 months ago
Subdued bouquet in the nose that reveals balanced acidity, minerality, and lemon zest on the palette. Stone fruit and crisp Asian apple on the backend. — 6 months ago

Favorite bottle of Saxom I’ve tried. Lovely ripe fruit, balance medium body, lingering finish. — 12 hours ago
