Outstanding surprise on the road. Highlighted by a local wine store. Not usually a huge Columbia Valley fan, but its really nice for the price. — a year ago
Classy blue label on a bottle with a raised glass stamp. Dark as it gets for Rioja. And no sign of oxidation what so ever. Smells fresh and sassy. Sarsaparilla and berries. Flavors are balanced and herbal. Dry, tasty, and pleasing. It’s complex with a woodsy pine needles and tamarack bark zing to match the cherry cordial. This has aged amazingly and has loads of intertwined flavors 14 years in. — 4 years ago
Ruby-rich color, dry, earthy, hints of chocolate and berry fruits. Great table wine from Columbia Valley region — a year ago
Delicious earthy flavor, find it at Binnys (tasted with John) — 3 years ago
Notes of oak, cinnamon, blackberry and slight hint of spice. Classic cab — 4 years ago
Very solid Cab Franc, low acidity and some plums and cherries notes, grassy on the nose , my only complaint feels like it’s missing earthyness from the cab franc, but not a bad wine at all ... a little earthier it would be 9.3 — 7 years ago
This was opened a few days back the 2013 Tamarack Cellars Wahluke Slope Cabernet Franc from Walla Walla, Washington.
On the nose is black cherry, blackberry, red plum, green bell pepper, herbaceous and wet gravel.
On the palate is raspberries, strawberry, red plum, black currant, green bell pepper, milk chocolate, fall leaves and crushed gravel.
This wine is medium to full bodied with medium + acidity and medium + firm grippy tannins that gives you a long red fruit crushed gravel finish. This weekend try and do something special with a friend or loved one. Enjoy some wine and some good food and stay healthy and safe. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — a year ago
