Les Vignerons de Tavel

Les Lauzeraies Tavel Rosé Blend 2023

Blend of Grenache (48%), Cinsault (32%), Grenache Blanc (4%), Syrah (3%), Clairette (3%), Mourvèdre (3%), Carignan (3%), Picpoul (2%) and Bourboulac (2%). Beautiful deep fuchsia color. Aromas of red cherry/berry fruit, bramble vines and minerals. Bright red strawberry/cherry/raspberry fruit leads the palate with pleasant additions of citrus, minerals and watermelon. Nicely balanced acidity and bright/clean (and long) finish. Refreshing. Pleasant surprise. — 17 days ago

Cuvée des Lys Tavel Rosé Blend

Wonderful combination of bright fruit and structure. People sometimes forget that rosés are red wines, but this wine was a wonderful partner for a roast lamb and eggplant dish. Have this wine with food, and enjoy! — 9 months ago

"Tête de Cuvée" Tavel Grenache Blend

Rose in name only, this is a surprising light yet dark red wine. Light bodied, pomegranate colored, with a prominent nose of natural red fruit snack, pomegranate, hibiscus, slight raspberry and maybe even a little charcoal and moss, with a palate that’s pure dark ripe fruit, deep plum flavors, blackberry, candied hibiscus from Trader Joe’s, but a lightness and dryness that makes it easy to drink, but with a zingy finish that rises to the end, like the finish of a sour warhead. — 7 months ago
