Blurry picture, part of a good night at Seamstress in Melbourne, fruit forward but well balanced with savoury spice and decent grip. — 6 years ago

The 2nd of two Viogniers served blind by Sue Bell, and what a mouthful of flavour. Apricots - low to medium acid a honeyed note. French oak playing an accompanying role. A label new to me - a full throttle white to match the full bodied reds from the district. Very impressive. — 4 years ago
Soft round and long. Very comefatable wine. — 8 years ago
Mild fragrance of flowers and berries. Slight acidity, but enough punch. Will definitely hold up to burgers tonight! — 3 years ago
Obscenely juicy. A drinking partner who categorically detests Grenache found this to be a revelation. — 4 years ago
GSM plus Nero d Avola. Great acid, old French oak. Very easy drinking!! — 7 years ago

Christmas Day Lunch. I noticed one of the courses was Leg of Lamb and this wine was chosen from the Wine List with that dish in mind. Black and Red cherries with an earthy savouriness. This Sicilian variety has found a second home at Heathcote in Victoria - the terroir and conditions generally, suit Nero perfectly. Medium to full bodied with a rich texture. Heathcote is better known as the home of rich, full bodied earthy Shiraz. — 9 months ago
