Love this! Cranberries, black tea with lemon, peppercorns, so fresh and lively. Finish with dark fruits and pepper. Not green. — a month ago
Purchased in 2011 - Christmas vacation. Drank in 2024 and had with steak, baked potato and broccoli — 2 months ago
Medium golden color. Expressive aromas of lime, lemon and flint. The complex palate features grapefruit, almond and roasted coconut. Lovely mineral note on the finish. Nice creamy texture. Quite concentrated, plush and beautifully balanced. Outstanding! Appreciate you sharing this wine, Kase! — 3 months ago

Ruby color with aromas of dark red fruits, forest floor notes and herb spice, barrel-aged 10 months in French oak. On the palate flavors of black cherry and blackberry with leather, pepper, tea and herb spice. Fine tannins, long finish, well balanced with acidity, ending with fruit, herb, spice and earthy character. Nice! — 2 months ago
Among my favorite Renaissance wines, surpassed perhaps only by the 2001. Still loads of sweet piquant red and black cherries, currants, stewed plums, dried meat, mesquite wood, chocolate, wet earth, graphite and iron. Tannins have dropped out (as evidenced by the loads of sediment) leaving a velvety smooth texture. Not falling off a cliff but should be enjoyed soon — a month ago
An absolute gem. This is a fabulous wine. Perfect for investing, more perfect for drinking. — 2 months ago
Had in Newburyport at Brine - absolutely delicious. More like a zin but with the super bold edge taken off. Big, bold and would go great with lamb or steak — 3 months ago

Night 2 notes: drinking really well right now. Nose and flavors the first night were definitely on the animal mineral side. Tonight more fruit is showing. Deep. Ripe acids. Tannins are robust but soft and enveloped by the fruit and savory flavors. — 7 days ago
