I just found this hiding in our cellar, given the age on the wine, I thought that this would need to be dispatched with urgency. I could not have been further from how it actually presented.
The nose is lively and almost raucous. Loads of cherry jam and cinnamon. The palate is dense and compact, showing absolutely no signs of aging. Cherries, cedar and sweet jam are joined by powerful tannins. I’m floored as to how well this has presented. Kudos to the winery. — 3 months ago
Med+ body, med acid and tannin… red cherry and vanilla aromas, red fruit flavor, caramel and woody; for a mass wine, somewhat simple, kinda big, but not exactly unlikeable. — 4 months ago
14.8% ABV Dark concentrated color, really nice aromatics, oh yah Rutherford dust! — 5 days ago
Strong and still accessible. This aged really nicely already with a nose of vanilla, blackberry and white pepper. — a month ago
Light straw color with typical SB aromas adding a touch of floral mineral notes. On the palate flavors of melon and grapefruit with lemon citrus and honeysuckle notes, generous acidity, great mouthfeel with long finish ending with a salty spice mineral character. Nice wine! — a month ago

A nice, clean and crisp Sauvignon blanc. There were flavors of lemon and apricot, and hints of dry and green grass all paired with a low minerality (which I always like). Easy drinking. Would love another bottle with lunch on a summer’s day. — 4 months ago

Drinking this alongside some vegetarian sourdough pizza with red onions, black olives, veggie sausage, and pomodoro, was simply fantastic. The nose was solid, strong, and filled with black berries, cherries, and a tiny hint of cola. The flavors were very similar to the nose but layered in some vanilla, smoked meats and a tiny bit of acid. Also, it was widely accessible to folks across the dinner party. A great bottle which added to a great meal. — 19 days ago
