Fantastic red blend. Raisin, vanilla and nice long finish. Med tannin and not heavily fruited. Love it! — 8 years ago
Rather consistent with very good Pinot from the RRV. If served blind, I would have guessed RRV. Not sure I would have been able to peg Martinelli fruit, but this is definitely made in a similar style. Nose of herbs, cola, black cherry. Entry is black tea, mint, black cherry, cola to the middle. Has a tiny bit of a sharp tart bite to the finish. Really enjoyed this on an impromptu stop to this place a couple of years ago, and think I enjoy it a bit more now. I think this wine will hold rather well, but is drinking pretty darn good right now. — 6 years ago

Beautiful extraction for grenache. Dry Creek Valley wine, estate fruit. This wine has a heck of a nose on it. I'll give the nose alone a 92. Lots of brambly fruit, herbs (almost like basil?). VERY herbal nose. On the palate, some acidity on the front, but mostly rounded, builds to a black cherry, acidity building to the middle and finish where mint, allspice, raspberry pie kind of meet and mingle. This was a 'rando' recommendation when we were there in Dry Creek last year, and really glad we stopped. — 7 years ago
Can't get enough of this stuff — 8 years ago
Big bold fruit filled with plum, cherries and chocolate with a medium tannic experience on the front of the tongue which dissolves to the back with an explosion of plum. Must air for 1 hour. — 8 years ago

Just a little bit of air and this wine becomes full flavored with big bold fruity smells and tastes. Elevated from very good to really surprisingly satisfying. — 4 years ago
