Vintage Brut Champagne Blend 2004

Here we go. Back to the Krug 2004; been 5 years and it aged nicely. Still going very strong; this will continue to age for 20+ years — 5 days ago

Château d'Yquem

Sauternes Sémillon-Sauvignon Blanc Blend 2001

Delicious Yquem from a blockbuster vintage. Enjoyed with foie gras chawanmushi at 15E Tocqueville — 2 days ago

Dom Pérignon

Brut Champagne Blend 2004

First night open: 20 year old vintage— chocolate on the nose with a stone fruit finish. Tasted clean and complex with an almost immediate light evaporation in your mouth leaving you with the feeling of bubbles dissolving. Delicious. — 7 days ago

Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin

Vintage Brut Champagne Blend

Been a favorite for my family for many years. Never disappoints and is always incredibly smooth/tasty. — 18 days ago

Ridge Vineyards

Monte Bello Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2020

Yes, this is liquid luxury, on a pnp, young, and off vintage (fires). Can’t wait to try one with some years on it. — 8 days ago

Right. Should have wrote “fires vintage.” I was explained the blind block selection process, and truly impressed.

Château Lafite Rothschild

Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend 1989

Great example of the 1989 vintage and Lafite delivers. Served with a Braised Oxtail Acquerello Risotto and a Barolo reduction. — 2 days ago

Château Gruaud Larose

Saint-Julien Red Bordeaux Blend 1911

Amongst the second growths, the wine of the night (still can’t top the Lafite Rothschild). Really singing. The last glass, poured from another bottle, was less dynamic. I’ve had a good bit of 1989 Gruaud Larose in the last several years, and it is a great wine in this vintage. — 2 days ago
