Tender and fresh pale straw colored Vivera Altrove originated from volcanic soils of Corleone. It combines zesty acidity and freshness, smoothness and crispness. Brilliant kaleidoscope of citrus flavors on the nose accompanied by rich notes of ripe pears and white flowers. Pears vs lime/lemon game continues on palate, complicated with shadow of volcanic minerals. Light slowly vanishing finish.
Was great with mussels au gratin, scampi and swordfish pasta. Can't wait to enjoy it again. — 10 years ago
