Very fresh, lively, primarily redfruited aromas and flavors, some spicy notes as well, super nicely balanced, great acid, shows admirable restraint, should age nicely midterm (5-10 years?), very good “entry level” Zinfandel, long finish!! I’d read that the 2023 Zins, grown in a relatively cooler year, had a very long growing season, with excellent acidity, and I’d say this shows all of those characteristics. Morgan nailed this, it was great to finally meet his “adult” version, my wife and I first met him about 35 years ago at a ZAP event at Ravenswood hosted by his father Joel. — a month ago
Really tasty mostly zin blend. A little bit high acid and tight right when opened but was great after about 30 min — 22 days ago
Terrific wine! Lighter in color but not in taste. Started off in full Zin-mode and gradually changed to be a bit dryer. Hints of toffee, caramel and plum with the slight touch of tobacco in later pours. A beautiful wine to drink on a crisp Fall evening — 7 days ago
Excellent. In Butcher’s Cut on MSC — 9 days ago
Superb. Unusual example of Zinfandel: 100% Zin. — 25 days ago
I love Ridge wine… I have not had a bottle that I didn’t like. I had a vertical tasting. This is one of them. Amazing. — 5 days ago

Robert Biale often makes Zinfandels with surprising finesse and energy. They’re delicious and sexy and well balanced. If you don’t think Zinfandel is worth drinking try any of the Robert Biale versions and let me know if you’ve changed your mind. — 5 hours ago
