Really opens up on day 2 with gorgeous aromatics of ground coffee, orange peel and blossom. Fresh cherries and crushed rocks. Was very approachable for a 12 neb on day 1, almost too soft. Day 2 the structure is there - fine but grippy. — 9 years ago
Exotic lychee and jasmine nose. Fuller mid-palate than I expected - ripe stone fruit and white pepper spice. Chalky grip on the back palate, long, concentrated finish of lychee and Asian pear, loads of spice. Not what I expected but very more-ish. — 9 years ago
Stunning aromatics. Fine-boned. Bright core of red fruits laced with river rocks. Tightly wound. — 9 years ago
Just stunning. If you don't know and love Margaret River Cabernet, do yourself a favor and search this out. Fresh aromatics, gorgeous silky structure, aging so gracefully. A delight. — 9 years ago
Stinky on opening. Gym locker. Beet skins. Wet earth. Dedicated cherries. Neb tannins - firm upfront, finishes with dried orange peel and a little tonic. Think it needs time, but not sure there's enough fruit there to support the tannins. Maybe after decanting... — 9 years ago
Delish. Lovely balance - freshness, tension, focus. Long, nervy finish. Disappeared all too quickly. — 9 years ago
Looking just a tad developed the first night, sadly had fallen over by the second night. Still plenty of stuffing, gorgeous density and focus, but freshness compromised by what looked like random ox. — 9 years ago
Pretty special Aussie Pinot. Crushed rock, baking spice and fresh cranberries. Fine bones, beautifully ethereal, yet penetrating and intense. Loving it. — 9 years ago

Floored. So silky on entry, gorgeous juicy red fruits, wild herbs. Generous mid-palate, then insanely delicate tannins, creeping in, building up. Dark cherries, earth, coffee. Thought it was neb!! Truly amazing. A delight. I wish I'd had more than the last sip of the bottle!! — 9 years ago
