2017 vintage. Purple core, fading into slightly violet rim. Staining in the tears. Dark and brambly red and black fruit - cherries, blackberries, plums, slightly confectioners. Much riper than I remembered. Nutmeg and clove. Cocoa, chocolate, integrated tannin. Med plus acid, med plus tannin, med plus finish. Can definitely use some time. 13.5% alcohol. — 5 years ago

75% cab, Merlot, cab franc and petit Verdot. 16-18 months in new oak. 80% new oak. 2005 vintage. Very approachable now but many years ahead. Concentrated cherry, some eucalyptus. Chocolate, coffee, integrated tannin. — 5 years ago
Wild strawberries, tart red cherries, raspberries and pomegranates enveloped by fully bloomed red roses and violets. Some iron and red clay, cinnamon and nutmeg, black tea. Med plus acid, med tannin, med plus finish. So expressive. — 5 years ago
Ruby red wine fading into light ruby red water miniscus with slightly copper flecks. Med plus intensity. Red and purple violets, fully bloomed red roses, ripe and tart cherry, strawberry, currants. Dried cranberries. Cinnamon, nutmeg, sage. Earthiness, stone and clay. Very complex wine. Med/med plus acid, med tannin, medium plus finish. — 5 years ago
