Medium yellow colour, yeasty flavours on the nose, sweet taste. I prefer a lighter, drier champagne and you can't really justify the price tag (you're paying for the label)...however this still went down very nicely with a plate of fresh strawberries. — 9 years ago
Back to the future with this old style shiraz/cabernet blend that was so popular in the 1960s and 1970s before the barossa really took off. This won't dissappoint - delicious blend of dark fruit and leather flavours. You wouldn't know it was 14.4%. Not cheap but great value wine. — 9 years ago

Got this as a hamper filler freebie...yuk. this tastes like a normal glass of pinot noir mixed with a shot of whisky and two tablespoons of sugar. Barely drinkable. — 9 years ago
Big initial flavour but a tad bitter and not much subtlety. Still went down quite nicely with cheese — 9 years ago
A tad too soft for my taste but very quoiffable nonetheless. — 9 years ago
I'm not afraid to admit in a post Sideways world that I still enjoy a good Merlot. This one is soft on the palate but complex flavours of black fruit more than make up for it. Very nice — 9 years ago
First taste is an explosion of fruit; big. Then the tanins kick in and it's all downhill from there. 2013 vintage so probably needed another few years on the rack. Having said that, I've had much worse. — 9 years ago
Smokey notes in the nose. Fruity tastes on the palate. Exceptionally well balanced. Highly recommended. — 9 years ago
