SommCon DC: Rosé by AVA

Rosé by AVA Tuesday, June 25, 2019, 11:15 AM - 12:30 PM This seminar will take you up the West Coast to five very different AVA's that specialize in Pinot Noir, hence the Rosé's by AVA's are all Pinot Noir based. We start in Santa Barbara County tasting a single vineyard Rosé from Santa Maria Valley. Next stop is Monterey, then Russian River Valley to Anderson Valley. Our final wine is made in the Willamette Valley. This is a unique tasting as each wine has the same grape, yet a very different flavor profile. Last year the Rosé category grew by 25% in dollars and 15% increase in case sales. A very hot category that people are still exploring.
