The 2017 Chablis Montmains 1er Cru is clean, racy and super precise. Chalk, white flowers, mint and white pepper all confer brightness to this energetic, brisk taut Chablis. In the glass, the Montmains is so attractive and translucent. Orchard fruit and sweet floral notes linger on the close. Readers who want to see the elegance of 2017 will find plenty of that here. The 2017 Chablis is soft, pretty and understated, with lovely floral and citrus character. Open-knit and quite expressive, Moreau's village-level Chablis will drink well right out of the gate. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, January 2020)

The 2017 Chablis Mont de Milieu 1er Cru is broad, creamy and ample, as wines from this premier cru site so often are. Apricot, wild flowers, mint, lemon confit and lightly honeyed notes all flesh out in a racy Chablis that is all about textural depth and richness. All the elements meld together effortlessly. I imagine the 2017 will drink well with minimal cellaring, but it also clearly has the acidity and structure to age well for many years. It is one of my personal favorites in the range in 2017. This is a fabulous wine. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, January 2020)

The 2017 Chablis La Foret 1er Cru is a super-expressive, weightless wine that captures the essence of what makes Chablis so special, and that is the ability to deliver incredible flavor intensity without excess weight. The 2017 needs a bit of time in bottle to come together, as the oak is not fully assimilated just yet. Even so, the 2017 is incredibly vivid and precise. What a wine!

The 2017 Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru is a gorgeous, sophisticated wine. Exotic white flowers, mint, citrus and crushed rocks are some of the many notes that lift from the glass in a vivid, striking Chablis that speaks to finesse more than anything else. The intensity of the flavors is just remarkable, and yet the wine is light on its feet, gracious and incredibly inviting. The brisk, refreshing finish is sublime. The 2017 Chablis is absolutely gorgeous. The bouquet alone is so inviting, but that is just a prelude, as the 2017 has so much to offer. Orange peel, lemon confit and floral overtones abound, but it is the wine silkiness and grace that impress most. The 2017 is quite simply a wine of total finesse. The 2017 Chablis Grenouille Grand Cru is superb. So often wines from this site can feel a bit edgy, but here the 2017 stands out for its striking textural finesse. Floral and citrus inflections give the 2017 brightness and energy to match its vivid personality. This is such an inviting and alluring Chablis. I loved it. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, January 2020)

Usually a blend of three parcels, in 2017 the Chablis Humeur de Temps also includes the Bel Air and Clardys vineyards, both of which frosted heavily in this vintage. The resulting wine boasts extraordinary richness, power and vivacity, with lifted floral notes that add sweetness as well as sensuality. Veins of salinity give the wine its explosive energy and sense of balance. In a word: superb! (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, January 2020)
