I tried this wine and the less expensive Carmenere and a wine called Anka by the same winery and this was definitely the best of the three, that being said, I found it very good but not outstanding. It is very aromatic, but almost too intense and too perfumey. There was a noticeable amount of residual sugar. Still, enjoyable and interesting. #cabernet #cabernetsauvignon #cabernetfranc #merlot #chile — 6 years ago
This is wine seems overpriced for me. That being said...I preferred it to some Super Tuscans blind. It’s a delicious wine. #chile #bordeauxblend — 6 years ago
I find it too sweet and the color is frankly unattractive. It smells like grapefruit and raspberry mixed together with a pinch of volatile acidity. It’s lacking tertiaries and just stays in the happy red fruit range. #pinotnoir #chileanwine #chile — 6 years ago

Sweet Madura tobacco and mocha with a touch of tar, dark roast coffee, prime rib, iron pan, luxardo cherry, cedar bark, toasted marshmallow in this autumnally aromatic feast of perfumes. Spicy and lean into dense graphite and dark chocolate, blueberry, cassis, smoky raisin, baked plum, blackberry and pomegranate reduction. Violets for miles with a rich sloe-berry and burnt sugar cookie finish. #williamfèvre #carmenère #espino #chilewineday #chile #wine #redwine #svs #singlevineyard #grancuvée #mountainwine #mountainfruit — 8 years ago

I much prefer the basic Casa Silva #Carmenere over this one. This is deep in color and ripe on the nose and palate, but it has gone too far into wanting to be super silky and super ripe. It has lost the texture and the terroir for me. I also don’t like the milky, creamy diacetyl/lactic finish. Good but not great. #chile #colchagua #colchaguavalley #cordillera — 6 years ago

I seem to visit this #wine each Vintage but this 2106 is exceptional. Black pepper on the front of the palate, great long tea like tannins all the way back to the finish. Layers of black fruits all throughout. #chile #organic #biodynamic — 6 years ago
Earthy, herbaceous aromas of Brown, river mud and clay, cattails, plantain, fungus and peach, with matchsticks and ripe grapefruit. Medium-creamy texture sharpens into bright lemon citrus and Granny Smith morphing into crabapples. Green table grapes, sage, peppercorn, grapefruit and orchid textures shoot to clean river and trout bones. Racy, with twists and turns, a real ride down the rapids #chardonnay #chard #espino #chile #williamfèvre #mountainwine #maipoandes #maipo #SanJuandePirque #pirque — 8 years ago

Smoky nose. Mineral palate. A bit too much sulphites or sulfur sensation at times. Great value. #sanantonio #chile #pinotnoir — 3 years ago
So balanced. So pleasurable and drinkable. You will drink the whole bottle without even blinking (or thinking) Deep ruby color, pronounced aromas of blue and black fruit (blueberries, grapes, black cherries and cassis) herbal (mint, sage) and balsamic (eucalyptus) hints of oak (coffee and dark cocoa). Medium(+) body, medium acidity, medium ripe tannins and medium(+) finish. #carmenère #carmenere #chile #chileanwine — 6 years ago
#armador a little young for my taste but will try again another time. #chile #chileanblend #redwine #redchileanwine #carmenere — 6 years ago
Vintage 2015 / very quaffable, served from the fridge with ratatouille. That typical cherries smell that wines from #chile have, sweets also. Good #pinotnoir expression. Good acidity. Perfect weekday wine. — 8 years ago
This thing is all lightly green raspberries, dried lavender, balsamic tanginess, forest floor undertones. Tender tar-tinged tannins. Aromas are spectacular but palate is a touch underripe. #chile #pinotnoir #alliterationisfun — 8 years ago
Soft. Not too much of anything. At $10, this is quite #quaffable #chilensis #maule #pinotnoir #chile #ctbucklinwine — 9 years ago

Really interesting #chile #pinotnoir - candied cherry, softly smoky nose, bright fruit continues on the tongue up front, some sous bois on the finish. — a year ago
