One of the few orange wines in #priorat DOQ. It drinks best with a slight chill, interesting red/purple fruit aromas up front, slight funk and some citrus oil notes. Robust tannins up front on palate, richer body and citrus fruit with only slight acidity. The wine is a bit unbalanced and missing the really aromatic floral notes usually seen with an orange wine. Seems like an experimental curiosity but likely not the best skin contact white in Priorat. — 2 years ago
This more recent 2019 vintage shows much better than the 2013 I previously tried. Nose shows apricot, floral and some marzipan nutty notes. Drinks quite hot on palate as you notice that 14.5% ABV, missing some acidity but decent complexity on the finish. #priorat #garnachablanca — 2 years ago
I want to say this is peaking now @ 16 years. Cassis, bramble fruit and this distinctive dusty-earthy spiciness + wet slate on the nose that’s a hallmark of the #priorat DOQ. Primary fruit on the palate is evolving, touch of caramel under that black/purple berry, delightfully peppery spicy finish that lingers for ages trailing off with supremely soft tannins. Nice bottle to share with my wife as an early 16th anniversary treat. — 2 years ago
This #priorat is peaking at 14 years of bottle age. Muted cassis, bramble fruit, some wet stone and earthy undertone aromas. Hint of caramel and dried fruit up front, plenty of acid structure, tannins completely integrated. — 2 years ago
A little bit weird and funky on this white blend. Cork was wax-dipped so no oxidation, but at 10 years stored at the winemaker cellar it has aged to a dark caramel color. Same notes on the nose, nutty tones. Muted Sherry notes on palate. It’s interesting to me but repulsed other tasters in our group. #priorat — 2 years ago
Exquisite #priorat - 2 days after uncorking and it’s showing gorgeously, fragrant blackberry, spiced plum, dusty fruit, that unmistakable damp slate aromas. Sound acidity up front on palate, stewed plum, vanilla, black tea, sweet tobacco and chewy tannins on a long finish - fantastic 14 year old wine. — 2 years ago

Rare white #priorat - aromas of white flowers, lemon, dried herbs, layered on the plate palate, fresh acidity on a medium-light bodied frame. 90% #garnachablanca 10% #macabeu — 2 years ago
Tasting notes first from 2018 vintage served at an Indian restaurant - it was likely improperly stored so was clearly tired after a day or 2. We were fortunate enough to visit the #priorat winery and there the 2018 and 2019 were both lovely. 2019 was more classic, earthy cassis, bramble fruit nose leading into finely balanced black/purple fruit, leather-earth, tartness and superfine tannins on the finish. — 2 years ago
Such a crushable #priorat - bramble fruit, warming spiced plum compote, wet stone nose. 45% #carignan; 45% #grenache; 10% #merlot with 9 months in French Oak. Delicious balanced palate with a beam of dark fruit, bright frame and rounded tannins on the finish. After a week in the wine fridge with a vacuum cork, the last glass only had a whiff of raisiny notes which speaks to a wine with longevity. Exceedingly strong QPR #costcowine. — 3 years ago

Wonderfully elegant #priorat - blackberry pie, baking spice nose that’s a bit laid back, velvety mouthfeel, compote notes with sweet tannins long finish. Delicious. — a year ago
