Ripe cherry and plum. Dark and brooding. Pairing suggestion is lasagne or other tonato-based dishes, including Mexican food. Bold, smooth, spiced (nutmeg/cloves?), not tannic. Would make a great dinner party wine, no flaws or objectionable poibts, all of my friends with different palates gave this a minimum of 3/5.

2013 was a bad year for the vineyard, lost a lot of grapes to frost, so they bought grapes from Washington state. Afterwards, they bought fields there and produce under the "8 Chains North West" label.
