I finished the last of my 2006 Quimera, having drunk bottles of my purchase over the past 10 years. Looking back on notes, I’d say my overview is ‘disappointing.’ Not bad, just underwhelming. I found the early bottles to be jammy almost to a fault, with a sudden shift around three years ago to a dry, rather thin wine. Just never lived up to the hype.
