Not a licorice fan - I tend to favor spicier wine. I loved this wine.

Just a great, Oregon Pinot that was smooth and had great texture. Like handing the football off for 3 yards up the middle. A reliable winning wine for any occasion.

As far as Adelsheim wines go, this one was surprisingly unremarkable.

I agree with Alex - opened the 2018 for dinner w family in March 2020. Has all the berries she plum of OR pinots but not sweet. Earthy and smooth, on finish. Stood up to steak and short rinds but did not overpower chicken or pasta. Enjoyed by all. Recommend
