Agharta Wines
Black Label Syrah Blend
@paxmahle kills it His alternate label exudes a refined Syrah. Deep rich sweet cherry with perfectly refined tannins. Light hints of black pepper add depth and character. Lower amounts of acidity, mean this is ripe for consuming. Just awesome

What a wonderful nose- Rose petals, violets, spices. The palate- Ripened-red fruits, licorice, earthiness, pepper. Light acidity/ tannins. A beast upon first sip. Nice and approachable with a 30 to 60 minute decanting... becomes a medium- bodied wine. I would drink them by 2019.

Pretty amazing. Big, brooding GSV from the CA North Coast.

May 24th, 2013On the nose, leather and very dark fruits with some cinnamon. The palate is dark and brooding with hints of anise and dark fruits. Very good indeed.
