Not for me ... it was better after breathing for an hour, warmed, and with a big chuck of cheese, but for me it was too light, and just something about it I didn’t like. The wife liked it ....

Italian red i first drank at Livi and Mark's wedding. Wide opening - sour cherry at the top all the way down to oak and a liquorice finish. Lots of tannin structure but doesn't overpower the fruit.

Quite complex, well matched with rich sauces like bolognaise or lasagna. Very drinkable on its own.
