Faded, but still lots of fruit. Red raspberry, graphite and a little red plum on the nose. Slow attack, a little watery in the mid palate, but finished strongly with 5-10 sec finish length of med + concentration of flavors that followed the nose. All in all, an enjoyable wine that was probably special a few years back.

Italian week, Part II. My first La Poja and a good experience. Dark, curvaceous, ready to roll on pop and pour. Dark fruit, plum, and florals. Good acidity with just a hint of sweetness.
