Alvarado Street Brewery
Mai Tai P.A. Tropical India Pale Ale
It is a 10🙌🏼 I may find a beer this good again in my life but it's incredible and happens to be local. it's been my favorite for awhile, some better some worse that's alcohol for you. Part of it is A) amazing beer B) distributed nearby so fresh off the line. It's 100% Mosaic, which gives off subtle pine on the nose and palette and hefty notes of tangerine and pineapple on the nose. The aroma is strong, the flavor is smooth with a tingle. They don't add as much additional hops at the end (which is what gives the extra big bitterness in IPAs like SN Torpedo, some Stone, etc.). It's clean and fun. It's a bummer that after you try something dozens of times it's not as amazing in the moment as you remember.. but if you get the right batch.. It's game-changing. Note the GABF gold for a brewing company 2 years old at the time. Must visit brewery on the central coast.
