I normally find Pinot Noirs to be the Sean Spicer of wines. I'm supposed to enjoy them, but can't quite bring myself to. Well, this is the Steve Bannon of wines. Wait, wait. Don't leave. It's bolder than one would expect, stays in the shadows but has a delightful wallop when swirled. If this wine published a bunch of fake news, it'd be him. Confused? I know I am.

Cuvée Corner

Straight outta Sonoma; delicious depth and beautifully balanced. Fragrant and floral aromas easily escape from the glass. Fine grained tannins sporting vibrant raspberry, wild berries, broken earth notes and a slight rustic edge. Technical deets: 12% whole cluster, pommard, 667, 777 and 115 clones. 11 months in French oak, 40% new, sur lee. A long delicious finish. Suggested retail price $34. Drinking gorgeously now, and will improve with further cellaring. 🍷#sample 🍷
