Wow this is neat wine from Mallorca.
Smells as if it has been filtered through cavernous cliffs. The fruit is all flinty, bright, and interesting. Lots of pit and rind, a great wine that showcases how well wines can grow and absorb the ocean air. The Saline shows itself in the wine, if only slightly.
Enjoyed at one of José Andrés fine establishments.

2007 vintage. Heavy on the alcohol, but fragrant red berries on the nose. Red liquorice, kirsch, oak, clove and chocolate. Pleasant to drink, but needs acid.

First taste of Mallorca. Pretty extreme structure for a medium weight wine. I'm not sure that I liked this, but I definitely want to try more.
