In the glass, this wine is medium ruby with medium (+) intensity of ripe red and black fruit aromas including black and red cherry, wild strawberry, red plum, black raspberry, blackberry bramble, pomegranate, also rose, delicate green bell pepper, fennel, crushed gravel, vanilla, nutmeg, cardamom, clove, and sweet tobacco.
On the palate, this wine is dry with medium (+) acidity, a medium body, medium alcohol (13% ABV), medium tannins that are fine-grained and well-integrated, medium (+) intensity of flavors consistent with the nose and a medium (+) finish.
This wine is very good. It shows impeccable balance, complexity, and intensity. We’re loving every sip of it. Thank you, Greg, for sharing this beautiful bottle with us.
