Sep 17th, 2015Loving this. Been opened a few days now and still looking the goods, unrefrigeeated. Nutty flor notes mingle with fruit freshness.

Vernaccia di Oristano DOC 2002, 16°. Aged in chestnut and oak barrels, smells like rich honey and candied citrus. In the mouth can still taste the alcohol, as well as apples. Pleasant, although I'm not a fan. 85/100

Dec 6th, 2013Really a fino sherry style “wine” from Italy. Has a bit of oxidation. Deep yellow, 16% alc. based on the art on the label perhaps this goes through a ripasso type process similar to amarone which would explain the abv. Nice but not for everyone.
