I loved this! Melon hits you write away on the nose and mouth—-honeydew and cantaloupe at the peak of ripeness. Good balance of acidity to round it out, with slight grassiness. Yum.

This Romanian white wine was delightfully lemony, almost like a dry lemoncello. What a treat to try a wine from Romania. Knowing nothing about Romania I would still assume there is a long food and wine tradition based on its geography. The restraint, food friendliness, purity, and character of this wine speak to a maturity in winemaking. Makes me want to visit and see some farms and eat some food.
