Pale Ruby in colour. Aromatic notes of confectionery and strawberry. On the light bodied palate candied red fruits, some sappiness with very little Tannin. Not for further cellaring but a delicious little Pinot right now. Bindi is always in the conversation regarding one of the top Australian producers of the Burgundian varietals.

Dixon is the new name for the old Composition Pinot Noir. Pale Crimson in colour. Lighter colour and palate than I am used to with Bindi. Kind of like a Village Bourgogne from a cooler year. Light cherry flavours with a skinnsy bitterness. No point in further cellaring. A great match with fresh Barramundi.

Wine option no. 5

We picked as Victoria but fell short on the appellation.
Love this Pinot, ripe and dense fruit yet elegant in the glass.
This brought us home in 2nd place overall for the evening.
It is fitting that for my
#500 wine!

Holy moley, what a gratifying wine. Uniquely farmy, bloody, tarpauliny, fruity nose- full blown Hermann Nitsch tableau- but follows that with a beautifully deft drink.
